Henry L. Buckenmyer "Skip", 73, of Eustis, FL, formerly of Mt. Lake, NJ, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Florida Hospital Waterman, Tavares, FL. Born in Easton, PA on May 28, 1941, he was the son of the late Henry and Helen Buckenmyer. Skip was part owner of the Mt. Lake Bathing Beach and Bar. His favorite past times were hunting, NASCAR and shopping for a new Ford. Skip's life passions were his grandchildren. He also enjoyed his canine companions, Brandy and Dublin and his cat Lucky. Skip was a member of Cedar Crest Hunting Lodge and Hilltop Hunting Club. He was a Master Mason and member of Warren Lodge #13 F&AM, Tall Cedars of Lebanon and West Jersey Shriners. Skip was also an honorary member of the Mt. Lake Fire Company. Surviving are his wife, Linda; daughter, Wendy Burdge (Jack); step-children, Deanne (Stephen), Jerry and Nicole; grandchildren, Rylie, Sarah and Jack; a sister, Linda; a brother, Randy. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to be made in Skip's memory to Mt. Lake Fire Company or a local Humane Society.
