Juanita “Nita” R. Davis, 80, of the Country View section of White Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 08, 2006 at the home of her daughter in Belvidere, NJ. Mrs. Davis was a homemaker. Born on November 14, 1925 in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Violet Chandles Eichman. Mrs. Davis had lived in Roselle and Washington, NJ before moving to Country View eight years ago. Mrs. Davis was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Washington. She enjoyed playing Bingo, flea markets, needle working and spending time at the Cross Roads Diner. Mrs. Davis was predeceased by her husband, Meredith Reese Davis, who died in 1997 and her son, Meredith Reese Davis Jr., who died in 1989. Surviving are two daughters, Ellen Ciasulli of Easton, PA and Marion Matinelli of Belvidere, NJ; a brother, Arthur Eichman of Bridgewater, NJ; seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.
