Obituary of Evelyn A. Walsh

Evelyn A. Walsh, 90, a resident of the Gwynedd Square Center, Lansdale, PA, passed away peacefully at the center on Wednesday January 11, 2006. Mrs. Walsh was an assembler at the former IMCO Container Corp., Belvidere, NJ for many years before retiring in 1979. Born on February 21, 1915 in Scranton, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Agnes Joyce Jenkins. She resided in Belvidere, NJ for many years before moving to Lansdale, PA five years ago. She was a parishioner of St. Patrick R.C. Church, Belvidere, NJ and a member of its Altar- Rosary Society. Mrs. Walsh was predeceased by her husband, P. Edgar Walsh, who died in 1966; a brother, Willard Jenkins and a sister, Jayne Jenkins. A woman of strong faith, she was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Surviving are two daughters, Jayne A. Walsh of Harleysville, PA and Kathie E. Walsh of Shawnee on the Delaware, PA; three grandchildren, Matthew P. Glidden and his wife Meghan of Abington, PA, Melissa Glidden and her life partner Michael Kelley of Hatfield, PA and John-David Kowchak and his wife Stephanie of Glenolden, PA; two great-grandsons, Benjamin and Alexander Glidden; a nephew, William Jenkins; a niece, Linda Weaver.
