Bernice & Elwood were good friends of my grandparents Ethel Sweet Thatcher & John W. Thatcher of Belvidere.
In fact we were reminiscing with pictures the other night and have a good one of those two together. My mother Beverly told me they got married late in life, when they were in their 50's.
As a child, I remember them having to tea and occasionally, Sunday dinner with us. I can still here their voices and laughter.
We are sorry for your loss but know that she is remembered fondly by us.
