Obituary of Yvonne Whitmore

Yvonne Whitmore, 75, of Hope Township, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ. Born on September 27, 1930 in Montclair, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Estelle Gorney Feltey. Mrs. Whitmore was employed by the Belvidere Board of Education as the secretary to the High School Principal for over 48 years before retiring in 1997. She was a 1948 graduate of Belvidere High School. She was of the Roman Catholic Faith. Mrs. Whitmore was a member of the NJ Retired Education Association, Belvidere Women�(TM)s Club and a former member of the Northern NJ Secretarial Association. Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Sam Whitmore; a daughter, Debra of Shipman, VA; a brother, Lt. Col. Donald R. Feltey, USAF Retired and his wife Betty of Metairie, LA; nieces and nephews. A sister, Marcellite Locascio had died earlier. In lieu of flowers, contributions are to be made in her memory to the American Lung Association of NJ, 1600 Rt. 22 East, Union, NJ 07083.
