Lawrence L. Schipps, 80, of Ormond Beach, FL, formerly of Harmony Township, NJ, passed away Thursday March 23, 2006 at the Ormond Memorial Hospital. Mr. Schipps had been a furnace repairman for Agway Energy Products for many years and also had been a custodian for the Harmony Township School. Born in Bangor, PA on March 2, 1926, he was the son of the late Leroy and Hazel Dillman Schipps. Mr. Schipps had served in the Navy during WWII. He had been a member of the Mansfield Lodge #36 F&AM; Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Forest #14; and the Valley of Central Jersey Shriners. Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Grace Johlman Schipps; three daughters, Ann Bosco of Bangor, PA, Linda Armstrong of Ormond Beach, FL, and Gayle Farrell of Belvidere, NJ; a brother, Gene Schipps of Mt. Bethel, PA; a sister, Jane Taylor of Phillipsburg, NJ; five grandchildren, Christine Carey, James White, David and Kenneth Bosco and Kaitlin Farrell; eight great-grandchildren. A grandson, Joseph White had died earlier. Contributions may be made in his memory to the charity of one�(TM)s choice.
