Obituary of Gertrude M. Farrell

Gertrude M. Farrell, 72, of Buttzville, White Township, NJ, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday April 22, 2006. Mrs. Farrell was the Municipal Clerk for White Township for over 31 years before retiring. Mrs. Farrell had also served as the secretary to the planning board of White Township. Born on December 11, 1933 in Stroudsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Iva Harmon Miller. Her husband, Lawrence W. Farrell had died on October 8, 1992. Mrs. Farrell was a member of the Buttzville United Methodist Church, Buttzville, NJ and served in the choir. She was also a member of the Methodist Women. Mrs. Farrell was a volunteer for the Meals on Wheels program. Surviving are a daughter, Cynthia A. Farrell of Philadelphia, PA; two sons, Patrick L of Huntersville, NC and Lawrence T. of Harmony, NJ; a sister, Jean Cramer of Buttzville, NJ; a brother, Wilmer Miller of Whitehall, PA; three grandchildren, Kaitlin E., Matthew and Michael Farrell; a long time companion, Peter Yurick.
