Sara A. Mucklin, 73, of Belvidere, NJ, passed away suddenly on Wednesday June 7, 2005 at Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg, NJ. Sara was a laundress for Warren Haven Nursing Home, Oxford, NJ. Previously she had worked for the former Belvidere Hosiery, Dakay�(TM)s Fashions and Hamlen�(TM)s Diner. Born on February 1, 1933 in Blairstown, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Wm. Homer Swisher and Frances M. Cooke. Sara was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of Belvidere, American Legion Post # 131 Ladies Auxiliary, Belvidere, NJ and the Blue Mountain Gas and Steam Engine Association, Jacktown, PA. Mrs. Mucklin was the wife of the late Burton H. Mucklin Jr., who died on April 12, 1986. Surviving are three children, Larry of Upper Mt. Bethel, PA, Geraldine L Muessig of Lower Mt. Bethel, PA and Burton H. III of Belvidere, NJ; a sister, Shirley Macomber of Harmony Twp., NJ; two brothers, Albert Swisher of Phillipsburg, NJ and Harold Swisher of Bangor, PA; seven grandchildren, Brian, Matthew, Michael, Monica, Cassie, Burt and Steve; two great-grandchildren, Aleena and Kayla; many nieces and nephews.
