Monica Edwards, 89, of Hope, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 27, 2006 at St. Clares Medical Center, Denville, NJ. Mrs. Edwards was a clerk for Western Electric Company, Jersey City, NJ for many years before her retirement. Born May 5, 1917 in Staten Island, NY, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Bertha Miller Mead. Mrs. Edwards was a parishioner of St. Patrick R.C. Church, Belvidere, NJ. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Howard Edwards, who died in 1969. Surviving are nieces and nephews; Pamela Payne, Debra Long, Lawrence Benning, Robert Edwards, James Edwards, and Regina Dolan.
