Obituary of Grace Clasen

Grace "Ann" Clasen, 73, of Brookfield section of White Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 20, 2012 at home with her loving family at her side. Born on August 26, 1938 in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Mary Usas Bobinis. Ann had lived in Holland Twp., NJ for many years before moving to White Twp. eight years ago. Ann and her husband John G. Clasen had observed their 45th wedding anniversary on April 8th. She was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School Class of 1956. For many years Ann had worked at the Webb Restaurant in Orr's Department Store. She worked for 17 years as an executive secretary at the Hunterdon Developmental Center, Clinton, NJ before retiring in 2002. Ann was of the Catholic Faith. She enjoyed traveling, the Jersey Shore, cooking, playing cards, and being with her family and her two granddogs, Dallas and Buttons. In addition to her parents, Ann was predeceased by her sisters, Ida Sterchele, Veronica Bobinis, Helen Tettemer, and Josephine Moran and her brothers, Michael, Stanley, Anthony and John Bobinis. Ann will be lovingly remembered by her husband John; a daughter, Debbie Cullen and her husband Gene; a son, Jack and his wife Luanne both of Knowlton Twp., NJ; three grandchildren, Olivia, Zachary, and Jack; sisters, Stella Miechur of Nazareth, PA and Jennie Kornfeind of Northampton, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to be made in her memory to Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice, 99 Sparta Avenue, Newton, NJ 07860.
