Carmen Zuschlag, 88, of Danville, PA, formerly of Belvidere, NJ, died Thursday April 26, 2007 at Columbia-Montour Hospice at Maria Hall, Danville, PA. She was born on January 21, 1919 in Newark, NJ. In her early years, she worked as a beautician and raised three children. She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Irving Zuschlag and her siblings, Paul DelGrippo and Beatrice Fusco. Carmen was a member of the Tewksbury Senior Club and V.F.W. Womens Auxiliary, Glen Gardner, NJ. Surviving are her siblings, Fan Beasley of California and Carl DelGrippo of West Orange, NJ; three children, Karen LaPorte and her husband Tony of Danville, PA, Richard Zuschlag of Belvidere, NJ, and Nancey Zuschlag of Colorado; grandchildren, Dawn Conrad and her husband Tom of Phillipsburg, NJ, William Carroll Jr. and his wife Karen of Califon, NJ, Lisa Carroll of Friday Harbor, WA, Amanda Schleicher and her husband Fred of Riverside, PA, and Terry Hoffman Jr. of Indiana, PA; great-grandchildren, David Carroll and his wife Nicole of Belvidere, NJ, Kourtney Arntz of Highbridge, NJ, April Hannah and Megan Schleicher of Riverside, PA ; great-great-grandson, David Carroll Jr. of Belvidere, NJ To send a lasting tribute or condolences to the Zuschlag family, please sign the Online Guestbook below.
