John G. Ostertag, 77, of the Brookfield section of White Township, Belvidere, NJ, passed away Friday May 25, 2007 at Easton Hospital, Wilson Borough, PA. Mr. Ostertag was a systems analyst for Union Camp Company, Wayne, NJ for many years before retiring. Born on February 16, 1930 in Newark, NJ, he was the son of the late Michael George and Marie Madimore Ostertag. Mr. Ostertag had lived in Wayne, NJ for many years before moving to the Brookfield section seven years ago. Mr. Ostertag had served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a parishioner of St. Patrick R.C. Church, Belvidere, NJ. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Irvington, NJ. He had enjoyed bowling and golf. Surviving are his wife of 49 years, the former Natalie Marcurio; three children, George of Easton, PA, Janice Jones of Stewartsville, NJ and Gail Finamore of Effort, PA; five grandchildren, Daniel, Noel, Patrick, Christopher, and Nicholas.
