Obituary of Trina Sarson

Trina Sarson, 89, of Belvidere, NJ passed away peacefully Wednesday July 4, 2007 at Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg, NJ. Born on July 7, 1917 in Clifton, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Henrietta Luursema DeGroot. Her husband John had died in 1986. She had retired in 1968 from the Oneida Bag Factory, Clifton, NJ. She enjoyed needlework. She loved children and holidays. Trina was a member of the Belvidere United Methodist Church. Surviving are two step-daughters, Beverly VanAlthuis and her husband William of Belvidere, NJ, Lois Hartzog and her husband Thomas of Coopersburg, PA; three step-granddaughters, Deborah Hoyt and her husband John of Belvidere, Tina Jones and her husband Randy of Martins Creek, PA, Joanne Schramm and her husband Thomas of Bath, NY; one step-grandson, Michael Hartzog and his wife Catherine of Belvidere; six step-great-grandchildren; a sister, Gertrude Hall of Clifton, NJ; five nephews and two nieces. A sister, Henrietta VanAlthuis Meyer and a brother, John DeGroot had died earlier.
