Obituary of Robert T. Wendland

Robert T. Wendland, 84, of Belvidere, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 14, 2007. Mr. Wendland was a vending machinist for Snyder Amusements, Wilson Boro., PA. Born on October 17, 1922 in Phillipsburg, NJ, he was the son of the late William H. and Elizabeth A. Storms Wendland. Mr. Wendland had served in the Army during WWII and received the European-African-Middle Eastern Service Medal. He had been a 58 year member of the American Legion, Post 131, Belvidere, NJ. He was a parishioner of St. Patrick R.C. Church, Belvidere, NJ. Mr. Wendland was predeceased by his first wife Bella M. who died in 1973 and his second wife, Ann Lorenzo Osmun who died in 1992. Surviving are three daughters, Shirlee Hildebrant, Debra Bitsack and Nancy Osmun; two grandchildren, Ryan Scacci and Emily Bitsack; a great-grandson, Raphael Scacci. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to be made in his memory to St. Patrick R.C. Church, 327 Greenwich Street, Belvidere, NJ 07823.
