Dennis Burd, 63 of Hardwick Township, NJ, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on September 16, 2007 at the Newton Memorial Hospital, Newton, NJ.. Mr. Burd was a sergeant with the Warren County Sheriff�(TM)s Department, Belvidere, NJ. Born on November 10, 1943 in Easton, PA, he was the son of the late Melvin K. and Thelma Maginnis Burd. Mr. Burd was a member of the P.B.A., Local 42; National Antique Watch and Clock Club; Antique Car Club of America. Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Sally Ann (McFadden) Burd; two daughters, Denilee Curry and her husband John, Bonnie Fistner and her husband Frank; a son, Jeffrey Burd and his wife Lisa; a sister, Judy Berberick and her husband Robert; grandchildren, Jessica, Brittany, Jenna, and Tyler. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to be made in his memory to the charity of one�(TM)s choice or Best Friends Animal Society 5001 Angel Canyon Road, Kanab, UT 84741.
