Obituary of Lavina E. Lozier

Lavina E. “Nine” Lozier, 86, a resident of Warren Haven Nursing Home, Mansfield Township, formerly of the Pequest section of White Township, NJ, passed away Thursday October 25, 2007 at the home. Born on July 8, 1921 in Belvidere, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Vandy and Clara Smith Howell. Mrs. Lozier was an assembler for Owens-Brockway, Belvidere, NJ for over 26 years before retiring. She was a member of the Buttzville United Methodist Church where she had served as a Sunday School Teacher and was an active member of the United Methodist Women. Mrs. Lozier was also active with the senior citizens group in Belvidere. “Nine” was predeceased by her husband Harry M. Lozier who died in 1978; two sisters, Gladys Howell, Mary Apgar; four brothers, Richard, George, William and Walter Howell. Surviving are two daughters, Elaine Dawson and her husband Ray of Dover, DE, Bonnie Voll and her husband Donald of Pequest, NJ; five grandchildren, Jeffrey Dawson, Amy Mault, Katie Haugaard, Kevin and Tyler Voll; six great-grandchildren, Brighton and Benjamin Dawson, Raya, Kayleigh and Davis Mault, and Linnea Haugaard; two sisters, Elva Yonocsko and Betty Mackes; a brother, Earl Howell.
