Armand A. Di Dio, 86, of Vero Beach, FL, passed away peacefully at the home of his step-son in Andover, NJ on Wednesday, November 21, 2007. Born on October 7, 1921 in Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late Cosimo and Maria Maglione Di Dio. Mr. Di Dio had made Vero Beach, FL his home since 1992. Mr. Di Dio was a banker with the Case-Manhattan Bank in New York City before retiring. Armand had served his country in WWII as a sergeant in the U.S. Army, stationed in the Aleutian Islands. He had been awarded a Bronze Service Star and the Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal. Surviving are his wife of 36 years, Helen M. nee Start Di Dio; three step-children, Mary Miller of New York City, NY, Michael Miller of Andover, NJ, and Monica Counihan of Johnstown, PA; two sisters, Betty Romita of Purchase, NY and Mary Scaduto of Westwood, NJ; seven nephews and three nieces.
