Robert D. Bastedo, 63, of Mt. Bethel, PA, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at the Pocono Medical Center, E. Stroudsburg, PA. Born on October 30, 1944 in Princeton, NJ, he was the son of the late Robert M. and Dorothy Pullen Bastedo. Mr. Bastedo was a carrier for the Express-Times, Easton, PA. Previously, he was employed by Kramers Oil Corp., Oxford, NJ and S&L Equipment, Belvidere, NJ. He enjoyed bowling and also was a NASCAR fan. Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Bonnie Fox Bastedo; two sons, Robert of Mt. Bethel, PA and Brian and his wife Kim of Tobyhanna, PA; two daughters, Camille Bastedo of Mt. Bethel, PA and Lorinda Russup and her husband Chris of East Bangor, PA; a brother, Daniel Bastedo; two sisters, Patricia Kinney and Nancy Bittner all of Oxford, NJ; a grandson Christian; two step-grandsons, Robert and Cody.
