Marie J. Borghardt, 98 of Belvidere, NJ. Died peacefully on February 26 at the House of the Good Shepherd in Hackettstown NJ. Born in Brooklyn NY on February 25, 1910. She was the daughter of Charles Herman Ehlers and Matilda Koerner. Her husband, Stanley George Borghardt, died in 1994. They had been married for over 50 years. Her brothers Charles Herman Jr. and Frederick died earlier. She lived in Brooklyn NY until the mid 1940s, when she and her husband moved to Stewart Manor, Long Island. They moved to Yardley PA in 1981. For the past 3 years she resided in the House of the Good Shepherd. Worked for the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company for 20 years. Survived by a daughter, Linda Marie Beal and her husband Wesley of Belvidere;grandson Andrew Charles Beal of Lambertville, NJ; granddaughter Francesca Marie Beal of Bethlehem PA; cousins, nieces and nephews. Her husband's ashes will be interred at that time also. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The House of the Good Shepherd, 798 Willow Grove St., Hackettstown NJ 07840, or to St. Mary Hospital, Langhorne PA 19047.
