Helen Cummins Taylor, 105, of Bloomsbury, NJ, formerly of Vero Beach, FL, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 13, 2008 at the Care Center of Phillipsburg, Phillipsburg, NJ. Born on February 8, 1903 in Delaware, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Clinton Brands and Mollie Mae VanHorn Smith. Mrs. Taylor had been a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Vero Beach; a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Vero Beach, FL; and had been active in square dancing. Her husband, Elmer Taylor had died in 1960. A sister, Pearl Osmun; two brothers, Lawrence and Ray Smith had died earlier. Surviving are a sister-in-law, Lucille Smith and her family, Patricia Warren, Beverly Moore and Rusty Smith; a nephew, William Osmun and his wife Patricia and their family, Tracy and Kenneth William; several great-great- nieces and nephews.
