Ethel C. Lambert, 89, of the Brookfield Section of White Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 23, 2008 at the Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Clares, Dover, NJ. Born on January 19, 1919 in Detroit, MI, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ethel Dewhurst Williams. Mrs. Lambert enjoyed in addition to her grandchildren, gardening, cooking and painting in water colors. She was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Belvidere, NJ. Surviving are her husband of 68 years, Norman J. Lambert; a son, William C. of CO; a daughter, Marcia Stieh and her husband Ken of NJ; a son-in-law, Edward Geyer of NY; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Lambert was predeceased by a daughter, Linda Geyer who died in 2001 and a daughter-in-law, Darlene who died in 2000. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to be made in her memory to St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 408 Third Street, Belvidere, NJ 07823.
