Obituary of Donalee Unangst

Donalee (Don) Unangst, 76 of White Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 24, 2008 at home with her loving family at her side. Born on September 1, 1931 in Topeka, KS, she was the daughter of the late Loren and Iren Chenoweth and stepmother Mary. Donalee was employed as a certified nursing assistant with Warren County Visiting Nursing Association. She had also worked several years as a private duty nurse's aide. Donalee and her husband Joseph were married for 56 years on July 3. She had enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed bowling, needle pointing, reading, gardening, singing and planning and cooking for large family meals. Donalee was a member of the Belvidere United Methodist Church and was active with its choir and United Methodist Women. Surviving in addition to her husband Joseph are a daughter, Donna Read and her husband Ralph of Cresco, PA; sons, Robert of Oxford, NJ, William and his wife Beverly of Pen Argyl, PA and David at home; eight grandchildren, Nathan, Katie, Keith, Stephen, Tina, Billie Jo, Rebecca and Desiree; ten great-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty of Boise, ID, and Patricia of AR; three brothers, Loren, Lawrence, and Michael all of KS; several nieces and nephews. A son, Henry, three sisters, Mildred, Florence, and Carol; a brother, Billy all died earlier.
