Edward R. Taynor, 83, of the Country View Village section of White Township, NJ, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, August 15, 2008. Born in Linden, NJ on June 4, 1925, he was the son of the late Leroy and Bertha Marie Heil Taynor. Mr. Taynor was a steel cutter for Hunterdon Transformer Company, Pittstown, NJ before retiring in 1990. Mr. Taynor had served in the Army during WWII in the 60th Infantry Regiment, 9th Division. Mr. Taynor had enjoyed woodworking and gardening. Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Anna Maier Taynor; a daughter, Christel Kozar of Sarasota, FL; two sons, Edward J. Taynor of White Township, NJ and Robert Taynor of Saylorsburg, PA; a brother, Henry Taynor of Winter Garden, FL; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
