Obituary of Elizabeth M. Johnson

Elizabeth M. Johnson, 93, of White Township, NJ, passed away on Monday August 25, 2008 at the Triumph Hospital, Easton, PA. Mrs. Johnson had worked with her late husband, Frederick "Bus" Johnson, on their farm and boarding house in White Township on Scott's Mountain. Born on June 26, 1915 in Pittstown, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Melba Williamson Apgar. She was a member of the Summerfield United Methodist Church. Surviving are three grandchildren, Janet Johnson McEvoy and her husband Gerard, Sandra Johnson Simone and her husband Pascal, and Jill Johnson Redfern and her husband Thomas, all of White Township, NJ; ten great-grandchildren, Phoebe Duckworth, Faith McEvoy, Maren McEvoy, Clint McEvoy, Clay McEvoy, Olivia Simone, Vivian Simone, Victor Simone, Nicholai Redfern, Cecily Redfern; two nephews, Richard C. Johnson and Larry Johnson; and grand nephew Brent Johnson. In addition to her husband "Bus" who died in 1997, she was predeceased by her son, Gary E., who died in 1993, a brother, Lester Charles Apgar, and a sister, Gladys Pearl Kays.
