Eleanor Kolenut, 85, a resident of Warren Haven Nursing Home, Mansfield Township, NJ, passed away Monday October 27, 2008 at Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg, NJ. Born on July 24, 1923 in Paterson, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Matthew and Ida Morgan Buckley. Mrs. Kolenut was a cafeteria worker at Hoffmann-LaRoche, Belvidere, NJ for many years before retiring. She was a member of the Buttzville United Methodist Church and Methodist Women. She was also a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, Washington, NJ. Mrs. Kolenut was devoted to her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased in her death were her husband, Martin Kolenut and a son, John Kelly. Surviving are her children, Thomas Kelly, Robert Kelly, Mary Harris, Dorothy Zito, Cynthia Inscho and Martin Kolenut; a brother, William Wellema; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
