Mae L. "Jeannette" Royal, 90, of the Brookfield section of White Township, NJ, passed away Friday, November 14, 2008 at St. Luke's Hospital, Fountain Hill, PA. Born on December 28, 1917 in North Adams, MA, she was one of eleven children of the late Henri and Martha Melancon Lepine. Jeannette was a parishioner of St. Patrick R.C. Church, Belvidere, NJ and a member of the Brookfield Solitaires. She was a former member of the 39ers Club of St. Andrew's Church, Clifton, NJ. She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond E. Royal, who died in 1980. Surviving are three children, John H. Royal and his wife Jacqueline, Marianne C. Gioia and her husband James, Peter E. Royal and his wife Doris; a brother, Clement Lepine; ten grandchildren, Jeremy, Nathaniel, Emily, Matthew and Theodore Royal, Claire, Christopher and Katherine Gioia, Sarah and Benjamin Royal.
