Karen Lillian (Johnson) Swisher, 44 of Stroudsburg, PA, passed away from injuries sustained from an automobile accident, on Friday April 10, 2009. Born on July 26, 1964 in Belvidere, NJ, she was the daughter of Clarence Johnson of Costa Rica and the late Winifred McNair Johnson. Karen had attended school in Belvidere and Bangor High School. Surviving are her husband Mark Swisher; three daughters, Heather Markle, Nicole and Madison Swisher; a brother, Scott Johnson of Malvern, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to be made in Karen's memory to Friends of Stroud Region Open Space and Recreation 15 Day Street, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301.
