Coral Belle Superak, 85, of Belvidere, NJ, formerly of Carteret, NJ, passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side on Saturday, May 30, 2009 at the Peconic Bay Medical Center, Riverhead, LI, NY. Born on June 12, 1923 in Larksville, PA, she was the daughter of the late George Wesley and Sylvia Mae Hughey Smith. Mrs. Superak had lived in Carteret for many years before moving to Belvidere 14 years ago. In addition to being very devoted to her family, Mrs. Superak was an avid animal lover. Surviving are two sons, Kenneth V. Superak of Fort Myers, FL and Michael G. Superak and his wife Julie of NY; four daughters, Joanne Nielsen and her husband Christian, Evelyn Martinez and her husband Frank, Alberta Rizzo, all of LI, NY and Deborah Balka and her husband Thomas J. of Belvidere, NJ; 15 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren. Coral was predeceased by her husband Victor J. Superak who died May 22, 1981; a grandson, Christian Nielsen; three brothers and two sisters.
