Obituary of Miriam Rose Ligowski

Miriam Rose Ligowski, 72, of the Brookfield Glen section of White Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 19, 2009 at the Compassionate Care Hospice, Dover, NJ. Mrs. Ligowski was a homemaker and previously was a secretary at St. Johns University, Jamaica, NY. Mrs. Ligowski was an avid sport fan of her children and grandchildren. Surviving are her husband, Robert T. Ligowski; two sons, Robert E. and his wife Joanna, Timothy and his wife Cathy; 11 grandchildren, Robert R., Jessica, Julia, Daniel, Mary, Madeline, Annie, John P., Lilly John, Bernadette; a sister, Karen Kuncken and her husband Bing. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to be made in her memory to Church and Friary of St. Francis of Assisi National Shrine of St. Anthony, 135 West 31st Street, NY, NY 10001 or St. Jude Children's Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
