Stephen A. Makatura, 80, of Milford, DE, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at the Milford Memorial Hospital. Born on November 11, 1928 in Belvidere, NJ, he was the son of the late Andrew and Mary Stoken Makatura. Mr. Makatura was a foreman at the former Oxwall Tool and Die Company, Oxford, NJ, for over 25 years. He was predeceased by his wife the former Bernice Moser; two brothers, Charles and William; a sister, Rose. Surviving are a son, Richard of Wind Gap, PA; a daughter, Barbara Strunk of Bangor, PA; two brothers, Earl and Andrew; two sisters, Irene Patrick and Margaret Hineline; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; serveral nephews and nieces.
