Obituary of Carl M. Rush

Carl M. Rush, 85, of White Township, NJ passed away Saturday, October 3, 2009 at Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg, NJ. Born on August 25, 1924 in Harmony Township, NJ, he was the son of the late Robert H. and Edith A. Butler Rush. Mr. Rush had lived in Phillipsburg, NJ for over 38 years before moving to White Township seven years ago. Mr. Rush was a paper worker for the James River Corporation, Warren Glenn, NJ for many years before retiring. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Mr. Rush was a member of the Buttzville United Methodist Church, Buttzville, NJ and the Free and Accepted Masons, Lodge #52, Phillipsburg, NJ. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy E. Hess Rush; two sons, Gary and his wife Susan of Easton, PA, Gregory and his wife Jane of Phillipsburg, NJ; two grandsons, Carl and Edward; a granddaughter, Kimberly; a great-granddaughter, Morgan; a sister, Lena Dick of Washington, NJ.
