Duane B. Bryan, 85, of White Township, Belvidere, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at Warren Haven Nursing Home, Mansfield Township, NJ. Born in Lanett, AL on December 17, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Carey Madison and Hattie Violiana LeCroy Brady. Mrs. Bryan received a B.S. in dietetics from the University of Alabama. She was a dietitian at St. Luke's Hospital and Mt. Sinai Hospital both in New York City. Later she was a dietitian at Newton Memorial Hospital and Warren Hospital. She retired as an elementary teacher after 20plus years at the Oxford Central School in Oxford, NJ. Mrs. Bryan was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of Belvidere and had formerly been a Sunday School Teacher. She was also a former member of the Belvidere Women's Club. Surviving are her husband of over 50 years, Homer T. Bryan; a son, Dr. Robert T. Bryan and his wife Claire of Big Timber, MT; a daughter, Patricia E.
