Obituary of Gerard James Leonard

Gerard James Leonard, 79, of the Brookfield section of White Township, Belvidere, NJ, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at the Manor Care Health Center, Bethlehem, PA. Born on November 11, 1930 in Union City, NJ, he was the son of the late Edward F and Louise Thiel Leonard. Mr. Leonard had worked in the insurance industry for over 35 years as an agent before retiring. He had attended Rutgers University and had served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Leonard was predeceased by his first wife Diana Marie Katzmark who died in 1982; a son, Steven; two brothers, Edward and Robert. Surviving are his wife Carol Ann Roscoe Lahosky Leonard; four children, John, Michael, Thomas and Cheryl; Three step-children, Peter Lahosky, Nancy Thumma and Diane Koscinski;three brothers, Matthew, Ronald, and Richard; three grandchildren; four step-grandchildren.
