Joseph A. Mickey, 91, of Kutztown, PA, formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 31, 2010 at the Lutheran Home, Topton, PA. Mr. Mickey was a machinist for Bell-Howell, Allentown, PA before retiring in 1987. He had served in the Army during WWII in the 630th engineering light equipment company. Born in Kingston, PA on December 11, 1918, he was the son of the late John and Josephine Mazurcavich Mickey. Mr. Mickey was predeceased by his son John R. Mickey who had died on April 17, 1996. Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Sarah Ferraro Mickey; three sons, Joseph and his wife Sally of White Township, NJ, Jeffrey and his wife Debra of Bath, PA, and James and his wife Janice of Kutztown, PA; daughter-in-law, Vicky Mickey of Bethlehem, PA; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
