Elba J. Altemose, 63, of Bangor, PA passed away peacefully on Friday, February 26, 2010 at Easton Hospital, Wilson Borough, PA. Born in East Stroudsburg, PA on July 10, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Elton and Mildred Litz Struble. Ms. Altemose had been a sewing machine operator for the former Valarie Fashions, Wind Gap, PA. Elba had enjoyed being on her computer. Surviving are her daughter, Tammy Vogel and her husband Daniel of East Stroudsburg, PA; a brother, Roy Struble of Bangor, PA; two sisters, Sandra Marx of Powhatan, VA and Brenda Davis of Valley Forge, PA; four grandchildren, Marci Vogel, Kayla Fry, Todd Vogel, and Nathaniel Fry. A sister, Iva Struble had died earlier. Contributions are requested to be made in her memory to the family c/o the funeral home.
