Obituary of Olive Marie Beam Kunkle

Olive Marie Beam Kunkle, 91, of Belvidere, NJ went home to be with the Lord on March 18, 2010. Olive was a 1936 graduate of Easton High School. She attended Churchman Business College and worked for many years at IMCO Container Corporation and the Warren County Court House both in Belvidere. Born on July 21, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Ruth Beatrice Nicholas Beam Sickenger Gray and Chester B. Beam. Olive was the youngest of three children. While at her parents' cottage along the Delaware River in Harmony Township, NJ, she met, fell in love and married Robert H.C. Kunkle. They spent happy times swimming and canoeing on the Delaware River. Olive was a member of the Belvidere United Methodist Church for over 50 years. She was predeceased by her husband Robert H.C. Kunkle and two sisters, Melba Geehr and Irma Miller. Surviving are four children, Jacqueline Kunkle Mann and her husband John, Roberta L. Kunkle, Roxanne Kunkle Robertson and Richard C. Kunkle and his wife Lynn; three grandchildren, Bret Kunkle, Joel Kunkle, and Alycia M. Kunkle; two great-grandchildren, Skylar and Zachary Kunkle. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to be made in her honor for the evangelism and outreach to the sick and elderly to Belvidere United Methodist Church, 219 Hardwick Street, Belvidere, NJ 07823.
