Charles Robert Baum, 74 of Hackettstown, NJ passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at the Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, Hackettstown, NJ. Mr. Baum was a truck driver for the County of Sussex Road Department before retiring. Mr. Baum had served for over 21 years in the Army National Guard retiring with the rank of Sergeant. Born on January 8, 1936 in Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of the late Robert and Ella Pelleau Baum. Surviving are two sons, Robert and his wife Lori of Klickatat, WA and Daniel of Hackettstown, NJ; two daughters, Deborah Baum of Newton, NJ and Stacey Calhoun and her husband John of Belvidere, NJ; seven grandchildren, Zachary Calhoun, Gianna White, Chaleen Farrand, Brianna, Regina, Tamara and Ryan Baum; two great-grandchildren; his former wife, Cindy Shaw Baum; and his many friends at the Heritage House at Hackettstown and Forrest Manor Health Care Center, Hope, NJ.
