Condolences
To family members and friends of Bill, on behalf of his high school graduating class, I offer our deepest sympathies during this difficult time. Bill graduated from North Hunterdon High School in 1965. I've been chairing the reunion committee for the past 25 years or so and have had a couple of conversations with Bill over the years. Know that we are all proud of his service to our country and grateful for his sacrifice. God Bless all of you.
I send my deepest sympathies.
Thinking of you,
Marie
The family and friends of Bill Miller are in our thoughts and our prayers during this sad time.
We met Bill through his children, and admired his compassion and dedication toward animals. We will always remember when he came to our bonfire party years ago and brought baby birds that needed to be fed every two hours.
Rest in Peace.
I lost my nephew John E. Bulaga Jr on 9/11. At the memorial service held in Belvidere each year, I felt proud listening to a stranger read a tribute, that he wrote to honor all the victims. This coming 9/11, I will be in NYC, and I will take along my fond memories of him reading his poem. My sympathy to his family. They lost a great Patriot. Sincerely, Rosemary Joseph
Dear Tanya, Joe, Bill, Michael, Brian, Eleanor, Cy and Toby,
Bill was so dedicated to the American Legion; he served it well and he made sure Memorial Day in Belvidere was very special, always honoring all those who had gone before. He was very talented - poet, chef, lover of animals and plants - and he did it all well. We are all saddened by his passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. God bless and comfort y'all both now and always. Love to all,
Ron & Joyce Ross & family

At Pequest's Bend
In the rolling hills of Warren.
On the Delaware's bend.
A delightful surprise awaits
At the Pequest's end.
The gem of the valley.
The seat of the county.
Picturesque and unique,
Unmatched in her bounty.
Surveyed by William Penn,
And again by John Reading.
No one could have foreseen,
Where their efforts were heading.
Settled by Patterson and Hoops,
both gentlemen of renown.
From one double log home,
She has grown into a town...
...Though plagued by floods and fire,
She will ever persevere,
A charming and endearing Victorian lady,
This Town of Belvidere!
By Bill Miller
Bill loved his Country and served it well. He also loved the Town of Belvidere. This is an excerpt from his poem which was published in the Belvidere Victorian Days booklet in 2007.
Happy trails Bill, we all will surely meet again.
