Obituary of Robert W. Sawran

Robert W. "Robbie" Sawran, Jr., 48, of Oxford, NJ passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, June 3, 2010 with his loving family at his side. Born on April 4, 1962 in Easton, PA, he was the son of June Gamble Sawran of Phillpsburg, NJ and the late Robert W. Sawran. Robbie was the Director of Volunteers for the Care Alternatives Hospice, Cranford, NJ. Previously he had worked for the ARC of Warren County, Best Buddies, Kaleidoscope and was a behavioral expert for private clients. Robbie was a graduate of Belvidere High School, Somerset County Community College and Monmouth College. Robbie had many friends and he was loved by everyone who knew him. He was especially fond of his four legged friend Midge. Surviving in addition to his mother is his wife, Pamela Prebor Kelly Sawran; two sisters, Dawn Sawran Geis and her husband Robert, and Brooke Sawran and her companion Cortney Houston; three nieces, Nicole Geis, Jennifer Geis and Taylor Sawran; three step-children, Christopher Kelly and his fiancé Ryan Kelly; Tara Kelly, and Casey Kelly; three step-grandchildren, Hailey, Christopher and Ava Kelly.
