Beatrice C. Denker, 98, of Harmony Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at the Care Center of Lopatcong, Lopatcong Township, NJ. Born on February 20, 1912 in Harmony Township, NJ, she was the daughter of the late James Monroe Cathers and Ida Unangst Cathers. Her husband Christ Denker had died in 1987. Surviving are three children; Doris B. Denker of St. Georges, DE, Carolyn E. Denker and Richard "Dick" Denker and his wife Ruth all of Harmony, NJ; two sisters, Betty Marschner of Albany, NY, and Janet Blaine of Lopatcong, NJ; three grandsons, Randy, Rick and Chris; a granddaughter, Lisa; seven great-granddaughters; one great-grandson. In addition to her husband, Beatrice was predeceased by a sister, Vietta Vannatta and a brother, Earl Cathers. Contributions are requested to be made in her memory to the Lopatcong Emergency Squad, 1301 Belvidere Road, Phillipsburg, NJ 08865.
