It was an honor knowing you and working with you in PTA and Girl Scouts. I consider you a dear friend as we watched our daughters grow into wonderful young women. I will always remember the laughs and tears we shared and will miss your smiling face.

I was privileged to meet Heike through online chats. I was deeply honored to be called "friend" by her. Heike was proudest of her family, and her clients, through the ARC. I wish I were there to offer my condolences in person, but this will have to do. To you, her family, my prayers are with you all. Know that your daughter, mother, and Oma is being held now in Jesus' arms, experiencing a love and joy we can't even imagine.

Allyson and family. I will greatly miss Heike. She and I have been friends since we were teenagers. We used to walk all over Belvidere going to visit each other, to the pool and to dances that were held downtown. I even got her to get on a horse one time when she came down here to visit me.
