Mary (Bruning) Turcic died at the Praxis Alzheimer's Facility in Easton on Monday, March 7, 2011 after a long illness. She was 88. Born in Passaic, NJ on January 5, 1923 to the late Simon and Margaretha Bruning, she was a resident of Mt. Bethel PA since 1976, and previously resided in Hackettstown NJ. Mrs. Turcic was a homemaker, and loved gardening. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Peter J. Turcic, who died on March 24, 2009. Mrs. Turcic is survived by her daughter Elizabeth of Phillipsburg, her son James P. of Great Meadows, her daughter Margaretha Ramsey of Ocala FL, two brothers, Simon Bruning of Trenton and Jacob Bruning of Rockaway; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
