Olive Hariton, 84, of Bangor, PA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at the Care Center of Brakeley Park, Lopatcong, NJ. Born on June 21, 1926 in Cornish, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Bertha Irene Melroy Rittenhouse. Olive was a shipping clerk for S. Johnson & Son Inc., Belvidere, NJ for many years before retiring. Olive was predeceased by a sister, Beryl Dux, who died 26 years ago, also on May 4. Surviving are a daughter with whom she lived, Sandra Woodbridge of Bangor, PA; a son, John Hariton and his wife Judy of Phillipsburg, NJ; a brother, Robert Rittenhouse and his wife Sharon of Phoenix, AZ; two grandchildren, Lisa W. Hennesy and her husband Jeff, and Kevin Woodbridge and his companion Christine; a great-granddaughter, Aibhlinn Hennesy; nieces, nephews and many beloved friends. Contributions are requested to be made in her memory to the Belvidere United Methodist Church, 219 Hardwick Street, Belvidere, NJ 07823.
