Joyce M. Buchman, 79 of Oxford, NJ passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at the Lakeview Subacute Care Center, Wayne, NJ. Born on October 7, 1932 in Buttzville, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Viola Reese Buchman. Ms. Buchman was a quality control inspector for Owens-Brockway, Belvidere, NJ before retiring. Joyce was a member of the Oxford Second Presbyterian Church, Oxford, NJ. She was a member of the Young at Heart Seniors of Oxford. She enjoyed playing cards and reading. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Raymond, who died in 1937. Surviving are two sisters, Betty Smith of Buttzville, NJ and Marjorie Silverthorn of Oxford, NJ; a brother, Claude Buchman and his wife Nancy of Hackettstown, NJ; several nieces and nephews; a dear friend, Ruth Howell of Belvidere, NJ.
