Condolences
Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of your loved one. May God almighty, father of tender mercies and all comfort continue to strengthen you all (2 Corinthians 1: 3,4). We all eagerly await the fulfillment of God's promise to completely remove death, tears, mourning, outcry and pain (Revelation 21:4). The Bible also provides assurance of a resurrection hope for our dead loved ones (John 5:25). May these promises from God continue to bring you comfort. You can learn further about God's purposes at www.jw.org.
Dan and Christa,
May our Lord bless and comfort you and your family during this time of grief. Please accept my sincere condolences.
My sincere condolences to the family. Words are never enough to take away the pain; but we can find comfort in Jesus' promise to soon bring our loved ones back to life again. While Jesus was on earth he performed many miracles and some of these were resurrections- for example in Luke 8:40-56. Jesus promises to soon perform resurrections on a much grander scale for all mankind in John 5:28, 29. For Jesus says: I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me even though he dies, will come to life- John 11:25. Jehovah God also promises to remove all suffering and death forever- Revelation 21:3-5. Soon no resident will say: "I am sick"- Isaiah 33:24. We can rest assured that these heartwarming promises will come true because it is impossible for God to lie- Numbers 23:19. May Jehovah God provide the family with strength and inner peace during this difficult time and may you all find comfort in his promises while cherishing wonderful memories of Nathan. Such sad news....
I had the extreme pleasure and honor of having Nathan in my Journalism160 class his freshman year. He was THE top student in the class.
Beyond his great writing skills, Nate's quiet demeanor and insightful perspectives were not overlooked by his professor.
Great talent needs no introduction.....I'm sure you saw that in your son throughout his life.
May God's strength be with you.... and may you always be able to smile when you think of Nate.
Best,
Bill Schwanbeck

Dear Orsini family and friends,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Although we were only privileged to know Nathan for the short periods of time he was in our CHOP ICU, Nathan will always live on in our hearts and minds!
Dan,
I know God will carry you and your family through this difficult time.
"One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky. In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there was one only.
This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints, so I said to the Lord,
“You promised me Lord, that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there has only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?”
The Lord replied, “The years when you have seen only one set of footprints, my child, is when I carried you"" ~ Mary Stevenson
May God comfort you and give you peace! Please accept my deepest sympathy.

While I did not personally know your beautiful son, I did hear about his blog and began reading it. I was inspired by his constant upbeat attitude towards life. For someone who was battling brain cancer, he never complained. I remember seeing him at the Chelsea for the dinner fundraiser and he gave me a hug, not even knowing me, yet thanking me and my children for helping out. Heaven gained such a sweet angel. May God bless all of you and may He give you strength and peace at this unbelievably sad time. May the wonderful memories you have of Nathan bring you comfort as well.
Nathan always smiled. May his quiet warmth be with you even now.
To Dan, Christi, Hannah, and Family,
Remembering the years our boys spent growing together in to wonderful young men.

The Noone Family

I am so sorry for the loss of this remarkable young man. I remember Nathan as the intelligent, kind, quiet little boy in third grade with the big beautiful eyes and deep dimples. He has always been one of my most favorite students.
My heart weeps with you, dan and crista as you mourn your loss. To be able to stay so positive throughout his struggle this year is a clear reflection of how you raised your son.
He was a true Gladiator who touched the hearts of many. His memory will live on for a very long time. May the angels bring you peace in this time of grief and sorrow. I am praying for you.

Rest in our Father's arms Nathan we will be praying for peace for your family.
I am so sorry to hear of Nathan's passing. Like everyone else who knew him, we were praying for a miracle. Perhaps the real miracle was how someone given such a devastating diagnosis could go on to teach the rest of us to be happy, have hope, embrace friends and family and not complain.
Since I retired, I've mostly been out of the country, but I've been following Nathan online, hoping beyond hope. Now, here in New Zealand, I get the news of his passing, and wish I could be there along with the entire town of people who knew and admired him.
You are a remarkable family.

To the Orsini family- Your loss is profound. I hope you know that your son Nathan is also a great loss to the Quinnipiac family. Our prayers are with you and your family. -Carolyn M. Macica, Frank H. Netter School of Medicine
I'm so sorry for your loss; there are no words to adequately express my sympathy. This year's Relay for Life was the first time that I met Nathan, as I was a participant on the Nathan's Neuroninjas team. I'm a sophomore at Quinnipiac, so unfortunately I never had the chance to know Nathan very well. However, I was astounded by his positivity and the ray of hope that he displayed at the Relay for Life event; hearing his speech is something that I will never forget. I've heard many wonderful stories about Nathan and his contagious personality; I'm sorry that I never had the chance to know him better. My sincerest condolences to your entire family; Nathan will never be forgotten and the entire Honors program at Quinnipiac is holding him and your family in our prayers.
To Nathan's Loved Ones,
We didn't know your beloved son, Nathan, but wish we could have met him. We have daughters who attend Quinnipiac and read of his passing. Our hearts are broken for your loss of your precious boy. There is no greater pain than that of losing a child. We wish that we could take your pain away. We can only believe that there is something greater in store for him and that one day we will all be together again. Nathan will always be right beside you and in your heart. Your memories of him will always be your most precious treasure. May care and love of those around you
provide comfort and peace to get you through the days ahead. Our most sincere condolences.
The Moschetta Family
To Nathan's family and friends,
I had the pleasure of teaching Nathan German in the Fall of 2014. That he was an exemplary student is known to everyone. He was also a bright light in the classroom. He was always smiling, always happy to be there and clearly loved to learn. Following his blog over this year, I was glad to see that he was able to find many other avenues for his love of learning.
I knew Nathan for only a few months, but I am nonetheless deeply saddened by his passing. I can only imagine the depth of this loss to those who knew him best.
Please accept my very sincere and heartfelt condolences. My thoughts are with you in this very difficult time.
