Obituary of Leo Michael Murray

Leo Michael Murray, Jr., 91, of the Brookfield section of White Township, Belvidere, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at the Chelsea, White Township, NJ. Born on January 29, 1925 in Passaic, NJ, he was the son of the late Leo Michael Murray and Mary Elizabeth Bremer Murray. Mr. Murray had been a career Journalist. He received his degree in Journalism from Rutgers University. He was proud to serve in the U.S. Army during WWII with Battalion B 115th Anti-aircraft Division. Leo was a parishioner of St. Patrick R.C. Church, Belvidere, NJ. He had enjoyed reading, writing and golf. In addition to his parents, Leo was predeceased by his wife Lorraine Kayser Murray, who died June 20, 2007. Surviving are his children, Michael and his wife Christina of Upper Darby, PA, Mark and his wife Kim of Hewitt, NJ, Mary Ann Bucsko and her husband John of Vernon, NJ, and Charles and his wife Karen of Morrison, CO; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; brothers, Richard and Donald Murray. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM, Monday, May 16, 2016 at St. Patrick R.C. Church, 327 Greenwich Street, Belvidere, NJ. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery.
