Obituary of David E Markle

David E. Markle, 78, of Belvidere, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 11, 2016 at the Easton Hospital, Easton, PA. Born of June 30, 1938 in Easton, PA, he was the son of the late David W. Markle and Jessie M. Castner Markle. A 1956 Graduate of Belvidere High School, David was a big hearted man who never failed to make a friend or lend a hand to anyone he met. Throughout his life he worked as a butcher and truck driver. He retired after 25 years of service with the Warren County Road Department. Dave enjoyed a life full of enjoyment: snowmobiling, boating and a great passion for hunting and bowling. David was also a Life Member of the Good Will Fire Company, Belvidere, NJ. In addition to his parents, Dave was predeceased by his sister, Alice Marie Markle. Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Patricia A. Rasely Markle; a sister, Linda Stocker and companion, Kevin Bergman of Asbury, NJ; a brother, Michael Markle of Phillipsburg, NJ; a brother-in-law, Richard Rasely and his wife Linda of Belvidere, NJ; nieces and nephews, Sue and Albert Swisher, Heather and Dale Piccione, Robert and Gretchen Castner, and Wayne and Michelle Castner.
