David W. Lehnert, 70, of Dover, DE, formerly of Belvidere, NJ passed away on December 29, 2016 at Kent General Hospital, Dover, DE.
Born in East Stroudsburg, PA on October 26, 1946, he was the son of the late James G. and Lillian M. Singer Lehnert.
Dave was a graduate of Belvidere High School and had served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.
Surviving are three daughters, Tammy Eckhardt, Tara Laise and Tanya Lehnert; a sister, Sandra Lilly; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
A Graveside service with Military Honors will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, January 19, 2017 at the Belvidere Cemetery, Belvidere, NJ.
