John Thomas Martin, 84, of the Brookfield section of White Township, Belvidere, NJ, passed away on Monday, January 14, 2019 at St. Luke's Warren, Phillipsburg, NJ.
Born October 20, 1934 in Newark, he was the son of the late Wilfred and Elizabeth Martin. Residing in Newark, Bloomfield and most recently, Belvidere, NJ, he was married to the love of his life, Jean Moglia for more than 61 years.
After graduating from St. Michael's High School, he spent most of his working life employed by Blue Cross as a senior system technologist.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Joseph.
Surviving are his wife, Jean; sons, David, Thomas Edward and Christopher, their wives, Kathy, Janet, and Amaryl; grandchildren, Sean and his wife Becca, Kellyann, Christopher Daniel, Tristan, Kaleigh, Crissy and her husband Bryce; great-grandchildren, Camber and Auden; elder brother, Billy; sisters, Theresa and Mary; sisters-in-law, Patty and Ann.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at St. Patrick R.C. Church, 327 Greenwich Street, Belvidere, NJ. Interment will follow in the Belvidere Cemetery. Friends may call from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, Tuesday at MacFadden Funeral Home, 325 Hardwick Street, Belvidere, NJ.
