Catherine E. Hammond, 87 of the Brookfield section of White Township, Belvidere, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at Heath Village.
Born on February 14, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Glynn Foley.
Catherine was an administrative assistant for Warner-Lambert Company before retiring.
She had been an active parishioner of St. Patrick R.C. Church, Belvidere, NJ.
In addition to her parents, Catherine was predeceased by her husband, Harry J. Hammond, who died in 2008 and her son-in-law, Robert Scheibling.
Surviving are three daughters, Maureen Bayles and her husband Bob, Cathy Parks and her husband Ken, and Colleen Scheibling; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Fr. Dennis Foley.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at St. Patrick R.C. Church, 327 Greenwich Street, Belvidere, NJ. Interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Belvidere, NJ. Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at MacFadden Funeral Home, 325 Hardwick Street, Belvidere, NJ.
